Sky Q is the new premium TV service launched on the 9th February 2016, designed to be an all-in-one TV service that will be provided in two bundles with optional add-ons. It is designed to bring all Sky’s contents under one roof to allow customers to view channels in a different room. Sky Q does doesn’t include extra channels or support Ultra HD (4K) viewing which is launching later in 2016.
There are two different set up boxes, Sky Q Box or Sky Q Silver Box and both come with Sky Q Touch Remote. If you opt for the Sky Q Silver bundle you will receive a Sky Q Mini Box. New and existing Sky Broadband customers who take out Sky Q package will also get a Sky Q Hub.
It certainly doesn’t come cheap but you may think it is worth it if you will use the extra functions it offers; it may benefit the larger household and appeal to those that love to have the latest tech.
To way up if this option will benefit you OR if the cheaper alternative of a magic eye would be more suited; which also allow multi-room viewing then please call me and I am happy to talk through the options that will benefit you most.
Thank you James, Aerials Above.
